Behaviour, what is it?

1 min read

Humans behave in different ways depending on how we are feeling and whether we have the skills to cope in a given situation, dogs are no different. All too often we place our dogs in situations that they just don't have the skills to cope with; their emotional output is illustrated in the behaviour they display. If your dog is behaving in ways that you find difficult, consider: What skills are required by a dog to cope in the situation? Does your dog have the required skills? Are the skills strong enough to cope in that situation? How can you help your dog build the skills from scratch or build the skill to be stronger?
