What do you need to go Mantrailing with your dog?

There is no pressure to buy equipment for your Introduction to Mantrailing. The equipment used for Mantrailing is a well fitted Y shaped harness and a long line both of which can be borrowed initially.

You will need 3 air tight pots and plenty of your dog MOST favourite treat which should be given only when Mantrailing making it an extra special treat reserved only for this sport.

An example of something extremely tasty, moist and easy to enjoy is Fish 4 Dogs salmon or trout mousse which my own dog adores!

You do need to wear sturdy walking shoes or boots and to dress for the unpredictable British weather to ensure tour personal safety and comfort.

Your dog needs to be comfortable waiting in a your well ventilated car between trails, sniffing is tiring and makes dogs thirsty so access to water is a must.

You also need up to 3 hours to enjoy with your dog learning the essentials skills for Mantrailing success.

You can enjoy Mantrailing as a fun activity and progress at your leisure or if you are motivated to progress through the different skill levels, being assessed by an independent assessor when appropriate for you and your dog.

How you choose to engage with Mantrailing is not what matters, it's that if you choose NOT to engage you and your dog just don't know what you are missing.
