A fun sport suitable for all breeds of dog and any age.
YES, even puppies and golden oldies!
It's a low impact obstacle course comprised of hoops. mats, barrels, and tunnels, NO jumping required.
Just like agility dogs learn to read handler body language and gestures to work cooperatively and complete the course.
Grow your handling skills to complete the course from a distance handling, making this sport accessible to handlers of all abilities.

NO JUMPS, the low impact course includes hoops, barrels, mats, tunnels and chutes.

Can any breed of dogs learn Hoopers?
Yes, Hoopers is open to dogs of any breed and is inclusive of dogs of all ages.
Puppies can learn Hoopers from the age of 16 weeks and many older dogs retiring from agility may switch to this low impact sport.
Are there opportunities to compete at Hoopers?
Yes, there are Hoopers competitions open to all levels of ability.
Dogs can compete under CHUK rules from the age of 15 months and can compete for as long as your dog remains comfortable and enthusiastic.
